Surface Technology backs growth in Leeds engineering and manufacturing sector

Cross Green-based provider of surface treatments, Surface Technology is backing ongoing growth in the Leeds engineering and manufacturing sector after investing in an advanced production planning system and hiring a new Sales Manager for their Leeds facility.

On the back of recent successes with customers including Brompton Bicycles, whose iconic bikes are electroless nickel plated at the Leeds site, Surface Technology is keen to forge more partnerships with British engineering and manufacturing businesses.

Graham Rackstraw, Operations Director at Surface Technology’s Leeds site said: “The manufacturing sector in Leeds and North England is strong and we’re looking to grow the partnerships we have in this sector on the back of recent investment.
