We provide three types of anti-corrosion coatings; barrier, sacrificial and fluoropolymer coatings. Barrier coatings are non-porous and protect metal surfaces from corrosion, sacrificial coatings provide a layer that corrodes in preference to the substrate and fluoropolymer coatings provide a thicker form of barrier protection (to over 800 microns) for applications operating in very aggressive and abrasive environments.

Water and mist corrosion protection
The environmental conditions where water and mist corrosion is a threat vary considerably. It is therefore essential that the specific type and concentration of water and mist informs the coating decision making process.
Salt corrosion – white corrosion protection
Metal components and structures operating in offshore environments are regularly exposed to salt water and salt-spray, both of which are aggressive causes of white corrosion. The optimum solution depends on the type of metal, the job it is required to perform and the frequency which the component is exposed to white corrosion. From high velocity oxy fuel (HVOF) and Wire Arc Spray, to our in-house developed TriCem 3800® and selective plating by the SIFCO Process®, our solutions protect a wide range of applications in the oil and gas and offshore power generation industries.
Red corrosion protection
Dust and red corrosion are challenges commonly encountered by automotive, construction and land moving equipment. In such environments corrosion prevention and reliable operation and movement of parts and components is essential. Zinc Nickel, TriCem 3800®, together provide a comprehensive range of corrosion preventative solutions for applications working in environments that are affected by red corrosion.
